LOS ANGELES (AP) The Clippers are keeping things in the family, re-signing backup guard Austin Rivers while adding reserve center Cole Aldrich.
Rivers, the 22-year-old son of coach Doc Rivers, averaged 7.1 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 41 regular-season games after arriving from Boston in a January trade. He became the first player in NBA history to be coached by his father.
The New York Knicks have agreed to a one-year, $1.65 million deal with power forward Lou Amundson, his agent, Mark Bartelstein, told ESPN.com.
Amundson averaged 4.9 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1 block per game in 53 games during 2014–15. He was traded to the Knicks from the Cleveland Cavaliers in January and signed two 10-day contracts with New York before being signed through the rest of the season.
OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) The deal struck last week between the Golden State Warriors and veteran guard Leandro Barbosa is complete.
The Warriors announced Barbosa's signing Monday. The contract is worth about $2.5 million.
