The Detroit Pistons have re-signed restricted free agent point guard Reggie Jackson to what sources told ESPN.com is a five-year, $80 million contract.
The contract has no options for either team or player, the sources said.
Jackson was the center of intense trade talks at the deadline before the Oklahoma City Thunder shipped him to the Pistons in a three-team deal involving the Utah Jazz. The Thunder also were in serious discussions with the Brooklyn Nets for Jackson.

Either Jennings or Jackson has to go. Probably it'll be Jennings.

They'd have to wait to trade Jackson anyway, and it's doubtful they'd do that less than a year into such a big deal. Jennings has an expiring contract, so I imagine he'll be dealt or they'll simply let him walk next year.
