Veteran guard Leandro Barbosa has agreed to a one-year, $2.5 million contract to stay with the NBA champion Golden State Warriors, league sources told ESPN.com's Ramona Shelburne.

Barbosa, 32, has bounced all over the league and played for six different teams in his 12 seasons. He was taken 28th overall by the San Antonio Spurs in 2003, then was traded to the Phoenix Suns, where he played his first seven seasons.

Veteran guard J.J. Barea is on the verge of agreeing to a two-year deal to return to the Dallas Mavericks, according to league sources.

The Mavs will give Barea the room exception, paying him a salary of $2.8 million per year, a source told ESPN.com.

El Nuevo Día, a newspaper in Barea’s native Puerto Rico, was the first to report that Barea had agreed to the deal.

The Mavs still hope to sign free-agent point guard Jeremy Lin and are pursuing avenues to create a salary slot larger than the veteran’s minimum for him, sources said. Possibilities include waiving veteran point guard Raymond Felton via the stretch provision or trading Felton in a cost-cutting move.

MINNEAPOLIS -- After a quiet start to free agency, the Minnesota Timberwolves are on the board with some much-needed experience for their bench.

The Timberwolves agreed to terms with Euroleague MVP Nemanja Bjelica, adding their 27-year-old second-round draft pick from 2010 to a promising young roster.

"I'm excited to announce that I intend to sign with the Minnesota Timberwolves and fulfill my dream of playing in the NBA," Bjelica said in a statement issued Monday. "Thank you Flip Saunders and the rest of the organization for the confidence you have shown in me. I'm looking forward joining the team and helping it become a contender."

Manu Ginobili will play another season for the San Antonio Spurs, announcing his decision in a tweet Monday.

The 37-year-old Ginobili had said Tim Duncan's decision would affect whether he returned for the upcoming season. Duncan announced Thursday that he would return for his 19th season.
