The Indiana Pacers will sign free-agent guard Monta Ellis to a four-year deal worth $44 million, according to ESPN's Marc Stein and Chris Broussard.
Ellis averaged 19.0 and 18.9 points per game over the past two seasons, respectively, for the Mavericks.
The Pacers could reportedly lose starting guard Rodney Stuckey to the Washington Wizards, according to CSN Washington's J. Michael.
Indiana is believed to have beaten out the Sacramento Kings, New York Knicks and Atlanta Hawks for Ellis' services, according to Broussard.

Good move to strengthen the backcourt, but sounds like West is on his way out. So...one step forward, one step back?

Monta is just a bad selfish player. He shoots way below league average .509 TS% in massive volume. The Mavericks weren't that good with him. Too bad Dirk and Parsons had to suffer with that guy.
I remember Stephen Curry saying he can't co-exist with Ellis. That proved to be just right. He's an ultimate winner today while Ellis's a drifter. I don't think the Pacers are going to be too happy with this Ellis when everything is said and done just like all his former teams.

Bad move by the Pacers.
He's was only useful without the ball in his first years in Golden State.
Since the, a bad offensive player that uses way too many possessions. Not really a good defender either.
What exactly are the Pacers paying here? Raw stats and mediocrity ?
Roy Hibbert, Monta Ellis, Paul George.
Good luck getting anywhere with that offense.
