Sources: Jimmy Butler agrees to $95 million contract with BullsJimmy Butler has agreed to a five-year, $95 million maximum contract to re-sign with the Chicago Bulls, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
Butler's deal will include a player option after the fourth year of the deal, sources told Yahoo.
Butler was a restricted free agent, and Chicago could've matched an offer sheet and retained him.
Well, that's that sorted.

Yeah the restricted status really messed with any short undesirable contracts he could have fielded to try to leave, so he had no choice but to take the max

If he really wanted out, he could have gambled upon himself once again and accepted the qualifying offer, then explored free agency next year. A $95 million offer certainly helps matters, but seems he was more than open to staying.

Kawhi, Love, and Butler's deals are looking solid.
Wade imo will get a similar deal just on shorter term. I'm thinking 3 years.
