Melo needs a good reliable 2nd scorer to be good again.

He became a star in Denver then people just seem to stand around and watch on offence or Melo is just so used to doing it alone now he's just taking bad shots.

Kevin Johnson led a lot of elite offenses, a few of them before Barkley's arrival in Phoenix. In my opinion that's enough to be the best choice here, despite serious injury problems from his age 26 season onwards. Roy, unfortunately, was no iron man himself and Maravich didn't seem to have much positive impact on his teams, despite the high scoring.
