Perhaps, but then again, that's a team that choked away a 3-1 series lead over these Rockets.
The James Harden memes that are popping up are amusing, but some of the criticism is a bit short-sighted. He had a couple of stinkers in this series, including Game 5, but he also had some good performances including an outstanding one in Game 4. He's a legit star with a lot of talent - granted, primarily at the offensive end - and a couple of bad games in the Playoffs don't make him an awful player, nor do they invalidate his case for MVP during the regular season. Not that I disagree with Curry getting the nod, but it's silly to retroactively say that he didn't have a case for a regular season award, because of what happened after the regular season concluded. It's like the whole "Tragic Johnson" nickname after the Lakers lost in the Finals one year; you can't fairly judge a player's whole body of work by their most recent game alone.
In any case, hats off to the Warriors for advancing to the Finals, for an opportunity to win a championship on the 40th anniversary of their last one. It's great to see Curry fighting fit and continuing to play well in the wake of that nasty fall.
