Pau and Aldridge over Deandre is horrible. Deadre Jordan was the best center in the NBA.
He has a better Ortg,Drtg, TS% and has DOUBLE the rebounds per game than Marc Gasol in the first team. He also had better WS/48.
Who can take this "experts" seriously ?
Kyrie over Butler is horrible.

I like Marc Gasol. He's such a stud and doesn't play like a bear sized center. Such skillful center is a rare commodity. But I don't know about Pau Gasol being on a second team over DeAndre. Perhaps it's because DeAndre's got the recognition for his defense. Meh, at least their first team looks very solid.

Pau > Blake is bothering me as well. Maybe I'm a little biased because I watched most of my Clipper games during the postseason, but still..

Felt Butler should've made it, but at least he made All-Defense.

MIP award might have done it.

There's that, too.

Marc Gasol?

He's a pretty solid player but I don't think he should be there in the All-NBA First Team. And where's John Wall?

Gasol had a better year than Griffin and is completely deserving of being ahead if him.
John Wall
The answer is simple. He wasn't good enough.
As for Jimmy Butler: Aren't isn't the voting for every award done in the same time/before any award is presented?
Irving got lucky. Butler deserved it.

DeMarcus Cousins at 2nd All-NBA Team. That's great.

They should make these teams position less. Pau had a nice season but he has no business on the second team

You really saying DeAndre is a better player than LMA?
Wed May 27, 2015 8:12 am
I'm really saying he had the better (statistical) season, hence he was the better player this year.
Aldridge obviously has a better offensive skillset, but stats don't lie. Only stat Aldridge had a better year is scoring.
Jordan had a historic season when it comes to efficiency.
2nd in NBA history in FG%. Top 25 season ever in Ortg. Was a great defender on an otherwise weak defensive team. Lead the league in rebounding.
Jordan also had a better Ows,Dws and Ws/48.
Just because he is one-dimensional on offense and can't shoot free-throws doesn't mean he wasn't amazing. Certainly had a better year than Aldridge.

Seriously agree to disagree. LMA was #1 option and carried his team to a good record despite a lot of injuries to the team. Jordan catches a shit load of lobs and benefits from playing with CP3 and Griffin who can pass the heck out of the ball. You don't build a team around Jordan but Portland is built around LMA which without injuries were looking like a threat going into the playoffs.

All of the thing you said are true.
Deandre obviously benefits for playing with Paul and Griffin.
Still doesn't change the fact he had a better year, and the All-NBA teams are for players with great seasons, not for "best overall" players.
