Harden is a better defender but he's not great. Certainly not a shutdown defender nd not better defensively that's any of the players I named. Then I guess Westbrook is an all-time great defender too if we're looking at steals. Monta Ellis too smh. Yep these guys are greats lol.

First off Harden is probably the 6th best defender on his team. Btw I forgot to mention Trevor Ariza, Patrick Bevereley, and Tony Allen.

No way in hell I'm adding Harden yet when he gets torched by a banged up 35 yr old Kobe Bryant lol

I got into a Westbrook discussion on defense at some other place. Base of discussion was actually about Westy vs Curry and people were raving how Westy's better because of his defense. But upon close look, you will see that Westy's not been playing any defense this season. He doesn't have to, I mean he's going to be the biggest ball thug in league history. Energy's just better spent on offense, that's what the team needs anyhoo. But perception goes a long way and people believe Westy's a good defender.

This clearly was a case for superior defender like young Kobe(& maybe Shaq).
