Goran Dragic wants out of Phoenix

Suns' Dragic: 'I don't trust them anymore'

Dissatisfied with his role on the team, Goran Dragic says he's made up his mind that he's leaving the Phoenix Suns, preferably before Thursday's trade deadline.

If not, he has made it clear there is no way he would re-sign with the team after this season.

As Dragic put it, ''I don't trust them anymore.''

The 28-year-old guard, whose points and assists are down considerably from last season, says he doesn't like his role of ''standing in the corner'' and wants to go to a team where he can be a true point guard again.

Meanwhile, the Suns are reportedly exploring trade options outside of his preferred destinations of the Lakers, Knicks or Heat.

Considering the Suns are currently doing better than all of those teams, and only the Heat have a shot at the Playoffs by virtue of being in the East, it seems safe to say he's pretty damn disgruntled in Phoenix.

He wants a team of his own, like supposedly Stephen Curry has. Poor Dragic. I think they should've traded Bledsoe instead of giving him big money.. Oh well. Too late.

Him and Bledose works, it's probably the acquisition of Thomas that made Dragic butthurt.

I still can't understand why Phoenix signed Thomas.

Pretty much. The Suns need to just trade him for the best deal they can possibly get. He can bitch and moan about it all he wants after the shit hits the fan, but for now he best shut the hell up and let the Suns do their thing.

Seems he got his wish, as he's gone to Miami. Perhaps reports of Sarver wanting to spite him by sending him elsewhere were greatly exaggerated...or maybe they simply couldn't get any other deal done.
