Details on Blake Griffin's elbow surgery-- the staph infection is in the elbow he has drained. Initial projection is 4-6 weeks, per sources

A timetable on Griffin will be given after surgery tomorrow but he will at least miss the next three games and the All-Star Game.

Good for Lillard, but needless to say, not so good for Griffin and the Clippers. From what I've heard about staph infections though, it's definitely a smart idea to seek treatment now rather than take the risk of leaving it untreated. The season isn't down to the wire yet, so the timing could be much worse.
