Me either I just mentioned him since Webber is on that list... regarding Vince, yeah he's not that injury prone upon looking up his stats... I was perhaps spoiled by his Raptors days that's why I mentioned him

Is Michael Redd consideration to be put in that list?

Yeah, I think Michael Redd should be in the list. Could be one of the best three point shooters in the NBA if not for his injuries. He is a scoring machine when healthy.

Dwyane Wade, Alonzo Mourning, Mike Miller.

Johnny Flynn was also real super star and injury indeed make him bad and my fellow poster has good insights. (Y) :)

Where's Kobe? He should easily be number one.

Looking at the numbers again, I'm going to have to concede Christian Laettner. I'd forgotten about his Achilles injury during the lockout season of '99, which did relegate him to a much smaller role earlier in his career than expected.

I'm still going to disagree on Vince Carter though. He did have back to back years in his prime where he missed 20 or more games, but after that he hasn't missed more than nine games in a single season, put up All-Star numbers for another six years or so and continued to show impressive athleticism, even to this day where he'll break out the occasional big dunk or acrobatic move.

If not for injuries, he'd be one of the top 10 greatest NBA players of all time. When healthy, Bill Walton played the center position as well as anyone. Sadly, he only had 1 1/2 years of truly great play, but he was amazing in 1977. Scary thing is, that Portland team was better the year AFTER they won the title, but injuries killed them in the playoffs.

He's in the HOF more on his college career - easily one of the greatest top five of all time.

Steve Francis was certainly a big time player that also had a dimished role on a team as he was traded away, but also had injuries near the end of his career that made him really ineffective.

What injury ruined his career? Can't remember anything but he just went to China and play ball.

He did have that one ankle injury back in the 2010-11 season where he missed a significant amount of time. In that time, Kyle Lowry rose to prominence and Brooks ultimately fell out of the rotation. Then he went to China during the lockout. However, I wouldn't consider that injury as "ruining" his career. He's back with the Rockets, he's still young, and has a shot at a decent career. Either way, Brooks isn't destined to be as great as the 30 players mentioned on this list were.

I'd put Michael Dickerson over Aaryn Brooks any day of the week.
