Classy move by a young player.

And however long he wears it, number 1 will be retired by the Pistons in the near future.

There's too much pressure on that number. Drum can't handle it. Billups is just too much for him.
Anyhoo nice gesture by young man. Reminds me of Jermaine O'neal intentionally not breaking Reggie Miller's scoring record. Not that it's similar but both Reggie and Billups are near the end of career and Jermaine and Drum were respectful up and coming young men.

That's pretty nice of him, I'm sure he'll get a few extra passes from Billups and it certainly helps in welcoming him back. Should be an interesting team to watch this season, really hoping Josh Smith has an amazing season and more so at the PF alongside Drummond and Monroe on the bench.

Looking at the summer league, Drummond was just a man amongst boys. I was watching some footage yesterday and heck ... they just threw up alley oop passes or set him up down low and no one could stop him. Pistons should feel lucky.

Beastly. His new number is hardly an indication of his talents and potential.
