Elton Brand Signs One-Year Deal With The Atlanta Hawks

Elton Brand has agreed to sign a one-year deal with the Atlanta Hawks. This will be the fifth NBA team Brand has played for since he began his career in 1999.

There goes another piece of Dallas' frontcourt.

Hawks needed big man depth after Milwaukee signed Pachulia. He's not that good any more, but this should get them a bit closer to that 8 seed.

Decent pickup for a one year deal that's presumably not too expensive. With Horford and Millsap starting, he's a solid veteran to bring off the bench.

I read somewhere that Lou Williams is to come off the bench for the Hawks. I guess this means John Jenkins starting with Korver, Teague, Horford, and Millsap.

Brand, and Lou off the bench sounds solid.

the good news is i will enjoy watching the hawks this season. seeing as i live in atlanta i semi root for the hawks to have a watchable team even if i only go to their games based on who is coming to town
