David Aldridge: Source says the Warriors are sending Andris Biedrins, Richard Jefferson to the Jazz. Checking on what they're getting back.
Warriors clearing tons of space, is it for a Howard deal or are they vying for Iggy's services? No word on what the Jazz are giving up in the deal as of yet.
Edit: Seems as if it was for Iggy indeed.
Confirmed: Andre Iguodala has agreed to sign with Warriors, made possible by sending Jefferson and Biedrins to Utah

Warriors agreed to terms with SF Andre Iguodala on a four-year, $48 million contract.Iguodala could have taken a reported $52 million deal from the Kings or $63 million over five years from the Nuggets. Instead, he settles for a little less money to join the rapidly improving Warriors. The highly athletic Iguodala fits perfectly in Golden State's uptempo system as one of the game's premier wing defenders who can also take plenty of ball-handling pressure off Stephen Curry. Iguodala has averaged at least 5.3 assists per game in five straight seasons. Look for him to slide right in as the starting small forward, possibly kicking Harrison Barnes to power forward for significant minutes off the bench. The Warriors no longer have the money to sign Dwight Howard outright, but they can still get him in a sign-and-trade. Jul 5 - 4:01 PM
From DEN to GSW? Denver should be really not pleased. They lost to the Warriors in the first round and now Iggy chose Warriors over them. Denver was an impressive team last season though.

Great move for the Warriors, another tough loss for the Nuggets. Looks like they're headed back for mediocrity after their finest season since the ABA years, while the Warriors remain a team on the rise.

jack was probably more valuable to the warriors than iguodala

I heard that the Warriors are sending 2014 and 2016 first rounders to Utah to make this trade happen... I believe that this can be true! for the Jazz to take $23M in salary's for bench players, they must get something interesting in return.

Full deal: The Warriors send guard Brandon Rush, forward Richard Jefferson and center Andris Biedrins, first-round picks in 2014 and 2017, and multiple second-round picks to the Jazz in exchange for guard Kevin Murphy.

They're expiring contracts and the Jazz have to meet a minimum salary level.

How? Iguodala can easily take over the secondary ball handler duties as his handles and passing ability are just as good, if not better, than Jack's. Jack is a better shooter, but I believe they already have enough of those and if not, they can still sign some. Iggy's skillset is much more unique. He's basically a poor man's LeBron - except for the defense, where he's at least equally good.
Also, he reportedly took a bit less money to sign with the Warriors. He had a 52/4 offer and also a five-year deal on the table from the Nuggets. Great pickup for Golden State, if Curry and Bogut can stay healthy (Bogut is rather doubtful), they'll be a force.

I guess you never know with Bogut given all his bad luck with injuries these past few years, but he was looking a lot healthier towards the end of the season and during the Playoffs. If he can avoid any more freak injuries, he should be solid.

True bro, they must reach 90% of the Cap, but they also got two first rounders. It remembers me when the Suns traded away Kurt Thomas and one or two first rounders to Seattle for nothing, just to make salary cap space

Looks like the Nuggets get Randy Foye from the Jazz and a 9 million dollar trade exception from the Warriors.
