Pacers' Granger having season-ending knee surgeryThe Indiana Pacers say Danny Granger will have left knee surgery and miss the rest of the season, leaving them without one of their best offensive players for the postseason.
Granger's injury-plagued season will be cut short after just five games. The team said Thursday the decision was made after talks among Granger, the Pacers medical staff and Dr. James Andrews, the noted sports physician.
On the bright side, the Pacers have been doing pretty well without him for most of the season, but it's a blow nevertheless and a shame to see another star battling injuries.

I was hoping to see angerish Danny going after LeBawn in the playoffs. Not your usual rivalry but feisty one that was somewhat entertaining last season.

Granger's played his last days in a Pacers' jersey. I don't think the Pacers need him any more.
