I'd say spoken like a true Knicks fan.

Past: I love to watch Scottie Pippen's highlights because his play looked so effortless and his defense was really nice to watch. MJ and the athletic Kevin Garnett were also great to watch.
Present: Well, I'm biased, so I like Dirk's game. It's unorthodox and his shot is unmatched. I also like Kevin Durants stroke, looks so effortless. Deron Williams is also quite cool to watch ... and Ricky Rubio.

I grew up in the 90's, so I didn't get a chance to watch any of the greats that were in their primes then. I have watched a handful of Rockets games from the 90's (the '94 Finals mostly), and I have to say Olajuwon was amazing to watch. I had to replay some of his plays just to see how it was physically possible for anyone to pull those moves off.
Now, I enjoy watching flashy point guards play. Chris Paul and Steve Nash come to mind first, Derrick Rose is also fun to watch. Tim Duncan, even though he's not fancy, is one of the reasons I enjoy watching Spurs games.

I started watching basketball when VC was early in his career with the Raptors back in the early 2000s so he was one of my favourites back then. My gosh his dunks combined both finesse and power.
And no one can forget this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMrPjl-927QRight now, I'd say it's Durant and Kobe. Durant scores with unbelievable ease while Kobe pulls off some of the most aesthetically pleasing moves on his defenders.

Chucking over 3 defenders is aesthetically pleasing? Ok then.
