Not bad for the Timberwolves, not outstanding either. He's solid.

The Rockets are apprently trying to get Dwight... which is makes no sense in my opinion.
First off, they would probably give the Magic so much rebuilding pieces, it'd be what the Magic need. If they ship pick 14 & 16 for the #5, then the Magic will most likely hop onto it. Then the Rockets get a one year rental with Dwight, get screwed over when he leaves for a bigger market, and their team is destroyed.
Or they can be saving the picks who knows...

What rebuilding pieces do the Rockets have?
If they can pawn them off on Orlando for one the best players in the game. Why not?
In a year you got all dat cap space, all dat time to build.

Gives Chandler Parsons more playing time, so I like it.

The Rockets have #14, #16, #18, Lowry, Scola, Martin, Parsons, and Dalembert along with Dragic and Lee who are free agents that I think will return. That's a lot of good talent. I'm really hoping the Cats trade the #2 for some of those pieces. Do you think Houston would take #2, Kemba Walker, and Matt Carroll's expiring contract for Lowry, and the three picks? We even have a 2013 1st round pick from Portland we could throw in. We know Houston is looking for high picks, #2 is as high as anybody can offer. Lowry wants out too.

As a Wolves fan I like it. We need a solid shooting threat and Chase can also get a head of steam up and slash inside with purpose. It's what we expected but didn't get often enough from Wes Johnson. I think he fits the team quite well.
I wouldn't be surprised if we somehow got a first round pick back through other trades so I'm not overly worried about losing pick 18 for now.

I'm not a big fan of this trade of yours. Kemba still has potential to be better than lowry, who's about to hit his ceiling anyway I think. Three mid-round picks more often than not are not better than one top 3 pick. And since the Magette trade, the Cats are in need of a SF now, which can be picked up with the 2nd pick- either Barnes or Gilchrist. Then with the future big three of Kemba, Barnes (probably) and that African dude you have some potential, add a few willing veterans in the free agency to help the young guns develop and you have a pretty good team in the future, with cap space to re-sign all of them. Lowry will probably leave Charlotte via free agency when his contract expires anyway. The Rockets would probably trade the pick for Dwight, who will leave next year, and both teams lose with this trade.

I don't see that working out. Why in the world would the Kings need yet another point guard?

They better. Budinger is an upgrade over second overall pick just behind Derrick Rose.
