History Repeats Itself

Mon May 07, 2012 7:08 pm

The defending champs were swept again ... And another top seed is on the verge of being beat by an 8th-seed ... Mavs and Bulls going down .. just like the Lakers and Spurs not a long time ago.

Well the only difference is the 76ers gets a easy way out of the 1st round since the bulls lost their star player but with the Spurs I think they got lack of focus

They got 60% production out of Ginobili coz of injury vs. SUns ... who in that time was their BEST player ..
Another difference is that the Mavs got swept in the 1st round ... the Lakers were knocked out in the 2nd round.

Yup I forgot that Mavs and about Ginobili I agree they got 60% production out of Ginobili and thats because of injury now here is Rose with 25% Production because of an INJURY it seems that every upset with the #8 seed made this year and last year the Best player is always injured and can't contribute well

Rose's contribution this year is at 1% for moral support ... What I like about that Memphis - San Antonio series was Manu's armband .. dope....

It might be dope, but it's for his elbow's protection.

If I am right, the last time a defending champ was swept in the 1st round was Miami. What happened back then?

Both of the last year's finalists were eliminated in the 1st round and then LeBron hit the brick wall of the good old Spurs in the finals.
