Accounting firm Ernst & Young accidentally credited a first-place vote to Andrew Bogut instead of Andrew Bynum for the NBA's Most Improved Player of the Year award.

That's not a voter, it's the accounting firm that counts the votes. They realized the mistake and corrected it quickly, it's not that big of a problem.

EY would just have their grads doing the counting. As we all know with many grads, their head is usually in the clouds, so no surprise to see this mistake occur.
