I'm glad he's fourth, in front of guys like Bogut, Hibbert, Horford and the triple-double whore.

Rubio 3rd behind Kobe and CP3? Really?

Otherwise looking as usual

It's a joke that Anthony is that high. A nothing player. Obviously Heat homers casting their votes. Much like Bulls' homers voting for Rip Hamilton.

You ask why Rubio is third, it's because it's an All-Star Game & people vote for starters that they enjoy watching. Why else would Blake Griffin be ahead of the likes of Love & Aldridge?

And you had the balls to call me a hater's hater after I merely compared Rubio to be the same as Jamaal MVP Tinsley. Shame on you X. :shake:

Looks like Rose will be getting the starting nod again, along with Wade in the backcourt. I know it's only the first return but I wouldn't be too surprised if those starting fives - Rose, Wade, LeBron, Melo and Howard in the East; Paul, Kobe, Durant, Griffin and Bynum in the West - end up being the selections after the ballots are closed.

I just cast my vote for Rose, Wade, Deng, LeBron and Howard in the East, Paul, Kobe, Durant, Nowitzki and Bynum in the West. Deng's a homer pick but I figure we're all allowed to have one.

Aldridge yes - but Love? Seriously, that kid is a stat padder who disappears in any competitive game

I'm a blazers homer and think LA is a legitimate all-star but Kevin Love is way better. Tremendous rebounder, extremely fficient scorer and seems to be improved defensively.

I'd say Blake, Aldridge, and Love are all pretty much at the same level.
 Love is good at three things: rebounding, threes, and putting back his own misses. But he's REALLY good at those. Defense is a serious work in progress, his field goal percentage is significantly lower than it needs to be (he really should play inside more instead of shooting five threes a game), and his numbers are inflated from being the only rebounder in Minnesota and the only real scorer outside of the injured Michael Beasley. Also Rubio's insane playmaking and passing help.
 Blake is a better scorer, and is improving his range quite well. He's probably already the third best rebounder in the league behind Dwight and Love. He's also a very underrated passer. Playing for a contender and being the most exciting player in the league to watch (sorry LeBron) also help. Like Love, his D is a work in progress and hopefully he can be a legit shot-blocker with all that athleticism.
 Aldridge is an all-around player: great offense, and his D is nearly as good. He has good range, he can pass, doesn't commit many TOs, and (if I remember correctly) completed more alley-oops than anyone in the NBA. Being the centerpiece of what should be a contender help him as well.

I would rank Gasol and Dirk behind those three now. I expect all five of them to make the All-Star team, with Blake as the starter.

Love has been making more unassisted FGs this season compared to last season.

10-11: 61% of FGs assisted
11-12: 48% of FGs assisted

Just saying.

I don't get how Jason Kidd has more votes than TP.

Winning a championship last season against fanboy favorites such as the Lakers, Thunder, and Heat as compared to being swept in the first round?

They need to let him wear that on Hardwood Classics night, the whole getup. And play with an ABA ball.

Oh. A center that his performances are ridiculous if we compare the votes with it.
