An easy group for Greece, with only Croatia being a somewhat tough opponent!Great draw!

P.S. Please change Macedonia to F.Y.R.O.M. - Macedonia is in fact a greek region :P

Good to see Great Britain participate. I hope that they do well and keep their spot in the 2012 Olympics. But they have a tough group with Spain, Lithuania and Turkey.

Group B definitely looks like the toughest group.

George, I think Greece would easily top their group. :)

George7, sorry, not gonna change it, cause I think it's stupid to call some country a former yugoslavian republic just because some other country has a region that's called the same. BTW we have a village called Malta here in Latvia and I can bet that there is a region somewhere in the world, that's called greece. Gone a little off-topic but that's my opinion ;)

Sit, GB will play in the olympics either they finish first or last in this, cause they host it ;) but i don't think they have a chance to get out of the group. Maybe only of Turkey and Poland aren't showing their best basketball.

mandich, not likely to happen :P but you have a really great chance to play in the quarter finals, cause C and D groups makes group F in the second round and group D is the weakest one out of these 4 :)

Nah, FIBA has considered taking that spot from them if they did not show enough improvement over last 4-5 years. Qualifying for Eurobasket was definiely first step. Getting out of group stage would definitely make it certain they will keep their spot. :)

Great Britain has a D-League coach (Chris Finch) and some decent NBA players (Gordon, Deng, Mensah-Bonsu)

Unlucky to get Spain and Turkey though.

If they can get Deng, Gordon and Pops all play for them, they could upset a lot of teams. I remember this summer Deng had 30 and Pops had 30-20 in a GB win. Add Gordon to that.

Not an easy group as Gasol is going to play for Spain I think. We'll be second in group I hope.

Deng has been their team for years. It's great to see him do it and he gets no recognition for it whatsoever.

Glad to have seen Ben Gordon state his intentions to play for Team GB (I think it was last season). Will be fun to see those two play for Britain.

Tough group for Lithuania, especially because they lost Kleiza and Maciulis.
