Wait just one minute! I cheered for Hedo and the Magic when he last played for them. I have nothing against him for being Turkish and unlike other people, I don't mix sports with politics and such. I never said I hate Hedo, I only said he is overrated IMO and that VC did better with the Magic last year and that the Magic were way better before the trade (their options as far as future were better too).

P.S. Casspi is good and as much as I root for him being the first Israeli in the league, I'm not so sure he's much of an improvement over Hedo, he would be an excellent 6th player on the Magic though.

Otis Smith is rushing and discussing about Howard's contract right now.. Is this a good move for him?

For Smith or Howard? It's obviously what Smith should be doing, what happened with LeBron has to be on every GM's mind when it comes to the contracts of star players. It's why the Melo trade eventually came about and the Jazz preemptively traded Williams to New Jersey.

From Howard's perspective, I don't think staying with Orlando is a bad idea. The roster needs some work and they've got a couple of bad contracts in Turkoglu and Arenas but there's enough talent there to remain competitive, thanks in no small part to Howard himself. As Donnie Walsh has shown in New York, it's possible to shed unappealing contracts and turn things around pretty quickly, so long as you make the right moves (and he managed to do so with an owner like Dolan). Of course, in Orlando's case it might come down to replacing Otis Smith to make that a reality.

For Otis.. I think its a bad move for him discussing about the contract because its been a week after the loss to the playoffs.. ahhhh very disappointed for the magic

It's something that needs to be addressed sooner rather than later, nothing wrong with bringing it up now.
