nice...

i hope we use espn next year. we can set our lineups on monday. the playoffs start earlier so we don't have to worry about teams sitting their studs for the real playoffs, i can start a trophy case for my espn profile, etc

Playoffs start for me again next week. Looks like a rematch with Shadow (of course).

I'm gonna lose here against air gordon (i think), but wasn't expecting much from it anyway (Love's loss was brutal, but even with him I would've lost). On the other hand, most likely I'm going to the finals in the unofficial, looks like it's against Oz.

It's tight too. I need my boys to stop turning the ball over and Brand to get over whatever sickness he has to beat you I think...

Despite being 4-7 down with one last day left, I think I still have a pretty good chance, FG%, 3PT% and TO all definitely should be mine, just like 3PTM, Points, Steals and Assists are yours. That leaves FTM, FT%, Rebounds and Blocks up for grabs. I have a pretty good feeling about rebounds and blocks, I think I can overtake both (Howard, Gasol, Smith, Humphries(hopefully), Fields all playing tonight, all good/great rebounders vs Jefferson and Scola). I think FTM will be yours, but hopefully I'm able to retain FT% (tough, yet possible).

shadow > doobie. don't you guys have a bet or something?

he won by a mere 2 blocks, so you can blame your blockers that underperformed

Of course I would win the playoff matchup. Doobie is a choking loser.
Unfortunately, the condition of our bet was who has the better record in the regular season and not who lasts longer in competition.
That's why I'm stuck with this custom title until the end of the NBA Finals, which is the same for your soon to be gay sig. :proud:
Even though it's April now I'm delaying your sig a bit Q for the simple reason that you're also azn.

I'm dissapointed because I only lost by 9 points, but of course Wilson Chandler + Landry Fields had to combine for 7 points on the final day, when they average 25 ppg between the two of them. But I am not making any excuses, I lost.

Shadow raping AG right now in the finals 10-1, but there are 2 days left and a comeback is to be expected.

It's close than what it seems. A good game or two from a couple of AG's players can make it 10-1 in favor for him.
Though if I win, I'll mock him endlessly for calling some of my players garbage. It's an AG pattern, everytime he's comfortable with a win he acts like a smug jerk but when he feels threatened he acts like hostile jerk.

sorry this is coming late. been a bit busy- vacation. moved in to a new place/had to get my old place ready for my renter...

anyway- hey congrats, dude. i was dumping rebounds and blocks and going for the guard stats. Boozer and A'mare let me down by missing some games. and i was expecting nash to shut it down/brooks go bonkers

your guys played great. diaw was a surprise and i couldn't believe AL jefferson (who killed me last me week in my big$ league) still played. even the inconsistent salmons was good.

so how does it feel to win???

for me it has always been a bit strange- by the time it's the championship, no one is really paying attention except the 2 teams. maybe you'll have a few dedicated gm's out there following (qballer) but that's it. you'd have to announce it on nlsc to let everyone in the league know who won.. assuming they check the thread lol. it's like getting the championship ring but no one's there to see it, let alone give you it.

on a side note- i hope this league moves to espn. it is ridiculous for the fantasy season to run the entire nba season. i'll admit that my team shouldn't even made it past the 1st round. to think if i caught a few breaks- i would have won the title on the shoulders of Bayless, farmar, hayward, dudley, crawford. 20 some odd weeks of checking injury reports, games played for the week, matchups, etc.. but it all came down to guys who are normally scrubs... that's just crazy

maybe that's why i'm not being a hostile jerk?? lol but i will close with this little nugget, mr shadow. sure you won. but can you win again and prove this wasn't a fluke? even darko got a ring ;)

For someone who doesn't mind the loss that much, you sure ranted in that post of yours. :proud:

Nah, I know the match up was close than what the final score shows. Some cats can easily swing in your favor and could have gave you the win if that happened. Like you said, if all came down to the "garbage" starters. John Salmons bitch!

I never even thought I would win against Doobie in the first round. He swept me during the season. Of course we're talking about Doobie here. *choke*

Oh and this...

Darko > LeBron.
