ESPN.com wrote:Short on players for practice, the Charlotte Bobcats found an extra body in the front office: Michael Jordan.

The Hall of Famer and Bobcats owner suited up for Thursday's workout, participating in a full-court scrimmage and showing a few of the old moves that helped make him a six-time NBA champion.

Jackie Moooooon.

It seems to me like he should try to be a coach or something. Not GM or owner. His decision making can be pretty bad, but one thing he knows for sure is basketball.

He should come back and play for the Bobcats. Just for a couple minutes at a time. That would be awesome.

final game of the season vs Atlanta, hampered by injuries and only needing 1 more win to get into the playoffs, Jordan suits up 1 more time.

I'd watch it. Hell, I'd watch the practice footage.
Opinions are my own.

Reckon they should have an old timers vs last team in the NBA game during NBA All-Star weekend?

Say it ain't so. ;)

Seriously though, no doubt the report has a lot of tongues wagging but I highly doubt it would happen. He's expressed regret at his comeback with the Wizards at times, he's 48 next week and there's too much red tape with him being the majority owner now. I wouldn't read into it anymore than Nate McMillan scrimmaging with the Blazers last season when they were short on players for practice.

That said, I too would be interested in watching footage of the practice.

He doesn't have to come back full-time, just for a few seconds at the end of a close game would be nice.

Ah. I wish that would happen.

Maybe it's me having selective or poor memory but it seems like guys who were exceptional players from their playing days don't turn out to be as good of coaches as guys who lasted a long time while being only "scrubs" or at least marginal players. Of course, Larry Bird and how he did with the Indiana Pacers when he was their coach would disagree with me on that.

He sits for the whole game, then gets subbed into the game (with the score either tied or the Bobcats down 1) in the dying seconds of the game and he gets to take the game-winner.

Is it possible to him to get back to playing even though he's in the H.O.F?

If he was to sell his controlling interest in the Bobcats, yes. I wouldn't count on it though and even though he's my all-time favourite, I wouldn't want to see it.

Even if he scores like 25 a game?

He'd no longer have the best career scoring average if that happened, so no. :P At 48, I don't see him being able to play enough minutes to put up 25 or more points per game. He's my all-time favourite but he's had his day, if I want to see him in action I've got plenty of tapes and DVDs.
