I'd be surprised if Salmons didn't re-sign, last I heard he wanted a 4 year deal though.

i'm a little skeptical with Maggette's fit in Skiles system/rotation

now it will be interesting to see what contract Salmons will get. i don't blame the guy for opting out. this will be his last chance for a big payday. iirc he couldn't get anything more then the MLE a few years back. now that he's 30- i don't see him getting >$9mil/yr contract from anybody

He's 30 years old, is decidedly average, and the only thing he's done of any note in his career is jack up a bunch of shots for two morbid offenses over the last year and a half. You don't sign those types of players to any long term deal.

I'm guessing they'll look to move Redd, whose $18 million contract expires at the end of the season.

Perhaps this will come to pass after all, now that Salmons appears to be returning.
