Cousins was the best player statistically in college basketball last season after Omar Samhan. You may have heard of one and two from the season prior: DeJuan Blair and Blake Griffin.

As for Turner, a more floor-bound Scottie Pippen maybe?
John Wall though is really... Francis in disguise. Lols... I mean watch his clips and clips of Francis back in the college/high school days. With John Wall listed an inch taller, I am quite interested to see this kid in the NBA.

Still damning with faint praise.

Isn't he supposed to be the better version of Francis?

Really interesting rookie class this is going to be, with Blake Griffin(considered a rookie?) in the mix. Seems like a good comparison in Pippen and Turner too.

Hope there wont' be no bust or disappointment in these trio. All top 3 pickers deserve a break.

If he doesn't overdribble and destroy the offense of his team, then he's not like Steve Francis.

Haha, ok. In that case, I stand corrected. He's nothing like the Franchise.

Zan, you hit the nail on the head with the Francis comparisons because they are very appropriate. One must remember that Wall is a couple of years younger than Stevie was when he entered the league & Wall probably has better potential defensively. But yep, a pretty apt comparison.

He's also actually shown he can distribute the ball and throw an entry pass.

Sounds like John Wall is a too hard to pass guy even at #1 overall. Steve Franchise was an exciting player to watch even though I hated him for not staying in Vancouver, which I actually was glad seeing how he failed in NY though.

Now I'm interested to find out more about guys from this year's draft class, probably half out of boredom waiting for LAL vs PHX game.
