Hey, like I said, the Lakers seem to be immune. Maybe they'll dodge that bullet again this year.

Meanwhile, it's all over for the Suns and Spurs; Suns get the sweep.

Good game. Glad to see the Suns finally get their revenge in style. Shouted "WHAT THE FUCK" after George Hill's insane 4 point play.

And Steve Nash 1 ups the bloody face gaming by playing with 1 eye/no depth perception
Truly the most ridiculous man in the world

Sweep was the last thing I expected before this series started. Spurs is the team that convincingly beat Dallas in the first round, and we are talking about healthy TD, TP and MG here. That Spurs getting swept in the playoffs just doesn't sound right. PHX deserves lots and lots of credit. Now I can't wait for PHX vs LAL series. I hope PHX still has some more surprise like this in them.

I think that was just evening up Dragic's four-point play.
Congrats to the Suns though. I'm still in denial.

That the team beat Mavericks convincingly got swept in the next round by arguably a weaker looking roster?

If it was that weak a roster they would've been seeded lower. I also dont understand how Steve Nash, Grant Hill, Amare, Channing Frye, and Jason Richardson is that weak compared to TP, MG, RJ, McDyess, Duncan. Seems about even to me. Two role players, 1 tweener, and 2 stars.

I'm not saying that the Suns have a clear cut weaker looking roster, but I have to say that many thought of it that way before this series began, as the talent loaded Mavericks were beaten by the Spurs. And roster wise, I think Dallas/Spurs have more, in terms of individual value.

Suns are finally playing some defense, which is an indictment of the previous coach, "No-D D'Anfoni"

PHOENIX RULEZ
that's what SAS gets for beating Dallas.
The Suns will advance ALL the way to the finals if they keep this up.
Nash, J-Rich, Hill, Amare, and Fry will be amazing next round!!!

Same here. I also think that the Spurs players' ages bother the team.

I saw a play where Duncan managed to create some space from his defender went up for the shot close to the basket and missed, in his younger days he could have easily made that.

Also Tim just doesn't create his own shots no more effectively. You don't see too many double teams against him now days and yet he doesn't really pose a threat. He used to make things tons easier for teammates, but now he needs more support than ever, it seems.

Was busy so I didn't catch a single game of this series. Did Phoenix just flat out dominate SA or what happened? Anyone wanna give a short recap?
Wed May 12, 2010 3:36 pm
Not flat out dominated, but the Suns did just about enough to beat the Spurs in each game with their offense. In every game, there was "here we go once again" moment, the Spurs making a run here and there, but it seemed the Suns' offense presented trouble every time the Spurs made a run. When the Suns got into a groove, they almost seemed to be impossible to stop. The basket the Suns made looked so easy, while the Spurs were challenged in all possessions. Overall, I thought this series was pure offense beating defensive minded team. Not that Suns were terrible on defense, but in this series, their offense just dominated the Spurs' D, shifting the momentum with key baskets in everytime they were chellenged.
