Still, it is just one miscalculation that anyone could make. Unfortunately for Ibaka, it happened at a crucial juncture of the game/series.

I saw him play earlier this year & knew he was legit at that stage. No need to worry about next season, I've been keeping my eye on him this season. Team always looks better with him on the court. Shame he didn't box Gasol out at all (N)

To be fair to Ibaka, it wasn't solely his fault. Collison should have stayed under the basket instead of wandering out towards Kobe.

I'm looking forward to seeing Harden and Ibaka play more next season. Very exciting times for the thunder. :)

I guess it could be said a team with more experience and poise might not have made some of the errors down the stretch of the two games the Thunder lost by three points or less, but ultimately that seems less of a factor than being extremely overmatched up front to name one prominent disadvantage.
