Cavs talk with washington going strong

Postby Cleveland wins on Wed Feb 17, 2010 11:46 pm

I heard at yahoosports that there's a possible deal going down between cleveland and washington, the trade would involve Zydrunas Ilkauskas, JJ.Hickson and Jamero Moon for Antwain Jameson and Mike James. I don't know about this trade, i'm a cavalaier fan but i'm not too much into Jameson, but i do like Mike James even though he's close to retirement. Personally i'd rather see the Stoudamire deal get done and i think cleveland has a better chance for that deal to get done.
For one thing the miami deal would involve Jermaine Oneal but the suns don't want his contract, and the deal would also include a draft pick from cleveland. But any way, i don't really like the washington deal that much, especially if they have to give up Hickson because i'm a big fan of Hickson as he is my favorite player on the team. But if they have to give him up for Stoudamire, then that's ok, what do you think of this possible deal between the cavs and wizards?

Interesting... Jamison to CLE. I guess that's also in a consideration, but it sounds WAS is also getting a good deal, that is if all of them stick around.

As for Miami, I doubt anything will happen with Jermaine as nobody needs his service while Miami also could use his expiring contract.

I doubt Hickson is going to Washington in any kind of deal. Ferry said he would trade Hickson only if it was a homerun deal, Amare for example.

I still think Cleveland lands Amare, especially since Sarver likes their deal more than Miami's.

Woah, sorry about that lamrock i didn't see your thread about Jamison, and i searched, but yeah i hope that the cavs do get Stoudy because he's more athletic than Jamy, and a point gaurd i think is the last thing cleveland needs, but the main thing is a powerforward. And hopefully in the draft cleveland can get a center, hopefully the cavs won't have to add a draft pickagain, but if its to get stoudy than i'm all for it.

I think Amare is a better fit, but I guess LBJ knows better than me.

I guess Amare will stick around little more in PHX. Unless... they take JO from us... or even Beasley... I would be happy.
