Top 10 Sixth Men of 2000-2009

Wed Sep 16, 2009 6:53 pm

Article

I'll go ahead and use the spoilers tag if anyone would rather read the article first. Otherwise, here they are from first to tenth:

1. Manu Ginobili
2. Bobby Jackson
3. Ben Gordon
4. Leandro Barbosa
5. Corliss Williamson
6. David Lee
7. J.R. Smith
8. Jason Terry
9. Earl Boykins
10. Donyell Marshall

If simply playing a season or two as the sixth man is enough to qualify for this list, I'd throw Odom's name out there. I'd probably put Jason Terry a little higher as well.

bobby jackson and corliss williamson should be a little lower. but they're the best in that list in terms of leadership. Jason Terry should be higher, he is 6th man of the year last season.

I agree with Odom's entry. Although I guess he hasn't played enough games off the bench.

i'd put Ben Gordon above Bobby Jackson at number 2, then replace Earl Boykins with Lamar
Lamar would be that low on the list only cause he hasnt played that many games coming off the bench (injury prone Bynum...) and only for the last year (hopefully dont have to do it again..)

I agree that Jason Terry should be higher on the list.
