The New Orleans Hornets Wednesday agreed to trade reserve point guard Antonio Daniels and a 2014 draft selection to Minnesota in exchange for forward Darius Songaila and guard Bobby Brown.
The Timberwolves sure aren't taking any chances with their point guard rotation with Sessions, Flynn, Atkins and now Daniels on the roster. I suppose it's insurance if the Bucks do match the offer sheet for Sessions at the last minute but even if they don't, they'll have two capable veterans backing up their two young floor generals. And assuming Sessions and Flynn are still on the roster in two year's time (it seems unlikely that Atkins or Daniels will still be), they'll probably have Rubio coming in to boot.
