Silly Kobe, haters are for kids!

Saw this on another site...thought I'd share with the Kobe fans:
SLAM: YOu have 3 rings, do you feel like you've quieted the doubters about your priorities, let them know what you are about?
KOBE: Well, thats funny, and that brings us to another point. Lets rewind a little bit... I read that somebody said "Kobe would never do it on his own" Well, do what? What are you talking about? Because if you are talking about socring 30, 35 points, i could do that for you. Now if you are talking about winning rings, on my own? I can't do that for you. WHo can? Nobody has. You know, Shaquille hasn't done it on his own. Jordan. You know, if you go back in history, you can run this down for days. So if you are talking about individual success, i can give that to you on another team. But if you are talking about rings, nah, i won't even touch that. I need the big fella.

SLAM: Anything else on your mind?
KOBE: Yea. I har some players say "Well Kobe couldn't do this on his own" or whatever. I saw that shit coming a mile away. All they are trying to do is derail my focus. If i go out there and i start trying to prove people wrong, like i can do thi son my own, then maybe we don't get a ring. And im not gonna do that. So if thats their strategy, they need a new one.

SLAM: So its just a lot of hate out there, even with other dudes in the league. Do you think you'll ever understand it?
KOBE: Some might be jealous beacuse i play with Shaq, and some might be jealous because i play in LA. But to be really honest, that helped me give up a lot of my individual game and blend in with shaq, because i know how much people hate seeing me win. I know what i can do individually, but right now ima keep on winnin and make every single one of yall hate my guts. Cause they know i can get 30, but they just hate seeing me win. So ima do what i do and just keep on winnin and make yall mad.

Just quoting it...don't blame me for any spelling errors.

I've made my hatred for Kobe no secret in this forum, but that is a sweet mutha fuckin black uni he's sportin in that mag.
a couple of issues before that one t-mac was thinly veiling his contempt for kobe, now kobe is crackin on t-mac for leaving toronto. their rivalry is like bird/magic, but less talent and more soap opera.

F.T.W where in the t-mac and kobe interviews did you get the idea that they dislike each other? All TMAC said in his interview was that in his opinion he was the best player in the NBA and realistically if you don't think that your the best in you occupation your gonna go nowhere. Kobe said that if Tmac had stayed in Toronto they would have played the lakers in the last two finals and that he had to do his thing. I found no section in each interview where kobe or tmac diss each other.

T-Mac said Kobe was the ONLY player in the L that might be better than him..Contempt?No, Respect?Yes.

These guys have no reason go hold fueds. If T-Mac had a better team, this would be a modern day Bird vs. Magic...A Fued held on the basis of respect. Also these two have a whole lot of similarities.
