Sources: Jazz finalizing contract with German center Tibor Pleiss
Long-time Simpsons geek that I am, I couldn't help but think of this:
European 7-footer Tibor Pleiss is finalizing a three-year, nearly $10 million agreement with the Utah Jazz, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
Pleiss, 25, has been one of the top centers in the Spanish ACB league and is only awaiting the completion of paperwork on the agreed-upon buyout with his Barcelona contract in order to sign with the Jazz early next week, league sources said.

Yeah, not even close. He was on a top Spanish team though.

This is similar to the Spurs signing of some Euro guy with tough name to remember/spell. Low risk pick up.
