I thought it was going to be either Koufos or this Timothy kid for the Cavs. Well, they pulled it off, 2 first rounders. Not bad for the Nuggets and possibly good for Win-Now Cavs.

Can't say they're not trying to shake things up, after a decent (but below expectations) start to the year.

Kudos to Gilbert for trying. I read most of their cap flexibility went out the window in lieu of the last 2 deals. There's still Haywood's unguaranteed contract but I am unsure they have something to pair with it to make it worthwhile. I don't think the players acquired will make a significant impact but at least they fill a need.

Lebron and company have their work cut out for them.

Denver has to be smiling. They got the 1st round picks for someone who is not in their plans.

Cavs had no cap flexibility before. They got lucky because they had a trade exception to use. (As did the Thunder.)

It was the tax they lost on, they'll have to pay it for sure.

Knicks are the ones who have created some insane cap flexibility, $25 million in cap space next year. And that's the low end number.

Meh. People are raving how shitty Cavalier did in this deal but that's because draft picks are over valued in this league.

Try turning late first rounder into a Mozgov caliber player, it isn't easy. It takes time, risk, money, and effort. Ultimately there isn't no guarantee either that developed player is up to par or even stick around your franchise. Mozgov is a finished product. The Cavs have 3 or 4 windows to win a title. Desperate? Overpaid? Naw, nut realie.

Should have said roster flexibility. I read somewhere in the $90 mil they will be committed to.
