He’s also said that his top priority is to put himself in position to win a title. The Bulls, Lakers, Clippers, Rockets and Mavs are among a group of teams expected to show interest in Anthony.

Wouldn't be completely surprised if he remains a Knick, but it doesn't seem like that's anywhere near being a sure thing. At this point, I wouldn't mind the Bulls taking a chance on him, depending on who they'd have to send back in a sign-and-trade. As long as Thibbs is coaching and the Bulls have players like Noah and Butler, they'll be a good defensive team. What they lack is scoring punch, and that's what Melo can provide. Again, I wouldn't mind seeing them give it a shot.
For all his faults, the addition of Melo could make any of those teams quite formidable.

He's worth the money that any team will pay him. At the very least, he'll become a valuable trade chip.
But I think Melo is just looking for attention and wants to hype it up so he can get max paid by the Knicks hassle-free. Some media were saying it's Phil Jackson's job to convince Melo to sign for less so he could build a winning team. BS. He won't take a dime in pay cut.

Out of all the teams supposedly in the running, the Lakers probably are the worst fit.
