Tristan Thompason swtiches hands?

Apparently he's ambidextrous and is switching from left to right handedness for all you roster patchers.

A week later when we got back to Cleveland and got one of the ball-boys to record me and I shot 100 jumpers with my left and 100 with my right and it was significantly better with my right-hand.

Thompson will be back to shooting with his left since that's what he got used to in his entire basketball life.

22 years into his life, still hasn't figured out which hand is dominant hand. I just don't get some people.

Stop blaming people for your ineptness at ambidexterity just because you're satisfied using a dominant limb.

This treatment of ambidextrous people as if they are freaks should stop!

"Why are you using your left hand to hold the spoon when you write with your right OMG SHOCKING."
"Why do you switch the hands you use when brushing your teeth?" (angles that's why)
"Why are you kicking the ball with your left feet?!"
"Why can't you stick with one hand when using the racket?!" (for reach)

And so on.

While I can somewhat relate to Thompson's being ambidextrous ( I use my left hand for utilities such as writing, right hand for physical activities like shooting a basketball), I figured out my shooting hand the first time I picked up a basketball. Either way, hopefully things can only go uphill for him from here.

in 37 attempts, he's shooting almost 20% better lol
