He got his current contract for first 12 games of last season. He plays like an All-Star about once in a month, does a lot more bad than good to the team the rest of the time. Doesn't play defense, doesn't get contested rebounds, doesn't make any contact while setting screens, shoots 20-foot bricks all day. He's pretty much everything you don't want your bigman to be, except being a good passer. I don't think there was ever a player I've wanted gone from the Sixers as much as Hawes and his little streak of good games doesn't change that.
