I hate Artest, but I love that blonde hair hahaha. Like what's been said, Rodman was a crazy mother fucker, but he got it done on the court so maybe Artest will start to avoid shooting his signature contested, pull-up 19 footers and just play defense and score easy baskets.

Oh my god. As long as he gets it done on the court he can do whatever he likes with his appearance though.

What's more surprising is that it's their 3rd straight loss. Having watched last 2 games, I think Kobe hasn't been that efficient lately. He was harassed by Barnes today too.

Kobe does shoot them out of games sometimes (though he can obviously also bring them all the way back into one), but as far as the Magic game is concerned I think Bynum playing a rather ordinary and foul plagued 19 minutes and a similarly ordinary game from the bench on the whole is just as big a culprit as anything Kobe did or didn't do. As it is, they only lost by two.

Bynum was actually extremely good in the limited minutes he got. He got in to foul trouble indeed, but he was one of the most active Lakers on the floor. He was really battling, it was great seeing him like that. Don't let the statline fool you, I preferred his play to Gasols tonight. It's a shame he got in to foul trouble.

Kobe lost to the game for LA, he took a couple of ill advised shots which made the gap too big. Sure he got them back with some jaw dropping shots, but it wasn't smart the way he played.

Gasol played quite out of character.

Fair enough, I didn't catch the game so I was just looking at the boxscores. Still, give him more than 19 minutes and something closer to his scoring average and I believe the Lakers have the victory.

True, it was a badly officiated game, the Magic got most of the bad calls...but it was clearly not a game the refs had under control.

Gasol imho played better on the offensive end as he tipped in two big shots in the 4th, but Bynum definitely played the better D helping out and blocking shots. (even with 5 fouls on him)
