I Prefer this.
He makes that shot,to tie the game.
Half of the fans are out of the game, what a shame. They thought its over..
They win this at overtime too.
Commentators are having an Orgasm out of this.

That was an amazing shot too, but it's not really appropriate for the thread given the fact that it actually counted.

Garnett's shot is obviously better. It was from a much higher difficulty and was swished rather than slapping off the backboard, though of course Sheed's shot actually counted, so yeah.
But Garnett's shot is the best I have seen that doesnt count.

i nearly shit myself when I watched it live

that is the definition of rainbow shot right there. Good god.

Such class, spins around two defenders and throws it in with one arm... Amazing.

That's a pretty sick shot, it's like he's playing dodgeball with the rim. I always thought the play Dwyane Wade made a few years ago versus the suns was sweet. I think he blocked Amare's shot then hit a 3/4 courter. I don't know if it counted, but I flipped when it happened

I remember that too, it did count. Great sequence.

Here's one from D-Wade against Atlanta

Love Wade's circus shots, they're unbelievable!

Here's another one by Wade that fits the bill of ridiculous shots AFTER the whistle. Similar in form of the shot, but without the spin move Garnett pulled off.

Two pretty good entries there. It needs to happen in a game that Jeff Van Gundy's calling, just so we can hear him argue in favour of a rule change that allows such shots to somehow count.

Kobe hits half court shot
Not forgetting the most recent one by Bulls player Brad Miller against the Nuggets @ 1:41

Gotta love Kobe arguing for the continuation on that one. Hey, worth a try.

Andre Iguodala giving it a go.
That's right up there with KG's shot and was from a little further back, but the spin move might just give KG's shot the edge in a battle of highlights that didn't actually count.
Wed Dec 09, 2009 10:01 pm
damn...doesnt get any longer than that
Wed Dec 09, 2009 10:19 pm
Sucks that none of these actually count, but fun to watch anyway
