pre-injury antonio mcdyess would have to have one of the highest verticals ever, i heard he jumped 46 inches or something once
i had a pic of him flying through the air, but cant remember where i got it from.

Man, I hope he comes back to his old self although I doubt it. The Knicks need that type of excitement!

Is is kinda up dere do you think he is higher than jordan?Image

Sun Jul 13, 2003 6:34 am

well back in tha days, Jordan only had 40", so if mcdyess had 46" supposedly, then he does jump higher than jordan

Sun Jul 13, 2003 2:05 pm

i belive jordan's was 48 inches... 4 foot even
i think only v.c. and spudd have had greater verticals (although nique and j-rich could be in the same class) dr j had alot of length... i dont think he actually got up as high though....

Yeah, I think Dice had about a 42 inch verical, and then a one-step jump of like 47 inches...Webb was like 5 foot 7 inches right? Man, that's insane. Here's a site with some of the highest jumpers' verticals (I don't know how accurate the numbers are though...seem pretty reasonable though)... http://www.ndaadunk.com/ndaa_front_pages/vertical.htm
