Breakout Seasons, 2003-2004

I hope these guys improve furthermore and have breakout seasons.

well....S.Jackson, Parker, Tinsley, K.Martin, Manu, Mckie, Najera, and Ratliff (who should be healthy again) are some posibilities...

As Pavel said, he probably won't get much PT...unless Kobe moves to small forward, in which case, Rush would get some minutes at shooting guard. However, that would mean

6. Deven George of LA

would not get as many minutes. George might replace Fox at small forward, so it's likely he'll have a good 2003/2004 season. Nothing all that spectacular though - not as long as Shaq and Kobe are the main men on the Lakers. He might be a nice third player/key cog though.

They'll no doubt have a chance. Whether they truly explode or just produce solid numbers is yet to be seen.

I don't think either can really have breakout seasons, since they're established veterans of former glory, who have simply fallen on hard times. Theirs would be "recapturing past glory" seasons - I think Zo can still be a force, but I'm not so optimistic about Hill. Still, I don't count either of them out yet.

8. The Bulls

Much as I'd like them too, probably not. I think they might improve a little more - from 30 wins to, say, 35 - but they are still depending on the continued development of guys like Curry, Chandler and Williams.

Mind you, if that KG trade goes through and they can sign a couple of decent to good players (Corey Maggette or Antonio Daniels for example), I might be so bold as to suggest around 40 wins - maybe the 8th spot in the East. Likely wishful thinking though.
