Well. i cant imagine NBA without him since i was born in 91 and pretty much knew shaq since i knew NBA. He says he has education so he has something to fall back on.
He doesnt need to do anything in my opinion. just a few random commercials once in a while and he is set.

it will be sad...I think he is one of the best c of all time....Downlow he was a monster.

Sat Sep 13, 2008 9:35 am

one of the most dominant player in the history of nba. not too many player could turn shit team into a championship contender in overnight, and shaq was one of them. he'll be missed by many but not likely by kobe fans.

I can't see the NBA without Shaq... Apart from being a great player... he is so funny in and off the court... I love too see him jumping for the ball, throwing himself to the floor, dancing in the All Star Weekend.

Remember when he took the ball as the PG and done some crossovers? That was so funny =D

One of the most complete players to ever join the NBA

I will miss Shaq as well even though later in his career he turned into a fat lazy dumb ass, who makes crappy freestyles who misses a crapload of games not to mention free throws. Can't argue with the fact that he was probably the most dominant big man of our time though, sure wouldn't want to be pulled over by Shaq Fu someday.

Lol shaq on undercover missions lmfao

Not much left, I hope he can do good during his last seasons. He'll be missed, atleast by me.

Yes he is also a rapper "Kobe tell me how my ass tastes," and a critically acclaimed actor, remember Kazaam and Steel, I think 8 or 9 people saw those. Shaq Fu is a very multi talented big man.

I see shaq making the all-star game voted by the fans on his last season. He deserves it for such a great career.

I would only want to see him in it if he shoots a bunch of 3's like he said he would in one of the older all star games.

Every great NBA player has at least one wack song or movie. I was talking more about his character and personality

He's the best center of all time..he'll be missed. He's more than just a basketball player, everything he does is memorable.

With age and injuries taking their toll, his decline in recent years really goes to show how his agility was sometimes overlooked as a natural gift and how important it was in allowing him to utilise his strength and bulk. The common claim back in the day was that Shaq was only great because of his imposing size but that wasn't the whole story.

i agree. he was really agile for a guy his size back then and it was overlooked. now that he is slow he puts up average Center numbers 12 Pts 10 rebs 1 blk.
thats still descent though and he still clogs the paint pretty good on defensive side

Yes it was his ability to hit clutch free throws down the stretch.

Don't get me wrong I loved Shaq, but he'd drive me CRAZY with the missed free throws, the injuries that caused him to miss 15 to 20 games a year and his seeming disdain for conditioning during the offseason. Other than that, he was amazing, wonder what he could have been if he kept himself in top shape a la Jordan or Malone or even THE MAMBA!!! Maybe the greatest ever rathar than one of the greatest eveer???

The funny thing though is that the best years that Shaq had statistically and in terms of rings, coincided with the years he was at his heaviest. Shaq is one of the greatest testament against good conditioning... hahah
