Me to my 2009 self: "Donald Trump is president, and the Raptors and Warriors are facing off in the NBA Finals"
2009 Lamrock: "I knew Bargnani would pan out"

I'd love for the Raptors to win it, but I'm going to say Warriors in 5. Or maybe that's a jinx. Probably not, though.
In any event, it's cool to see the Raptors not only become the first Canadian team, but also the first expansion team from the 90s make it to the Finals.

Warriors in 4 until it doesn't happen
Sun May 26, 2019 2:42 pm
Warriors in 6.
Sun May 26, 2019 3:22 pm
I admit I was wrong when I thought Milwaukee would smash Toronto but warriors in 5. Hopefully I'm wrong and Toronto pulls off a miracle
Does this basically guarantee Kawhi re-signing?
Sun May 26, 2019 3:41 pm
Surely has to strengthen Toronto's pitch.

lol. Just here to say that made my night.
Super excited to finally see the Raps making headlines and having a deep run. Hopefully they can steal a game before Durant gets back; and then pray his return causes issues once again. Also I still question Kawhi's health, a few days off to rest at least.
Raps in 7 because it's time.

Raps in 6.
We just have to get Paul Pierce to assure a Warriors win at some point.
Sun May 26, 2019 9:55 pm
Tuning in to see Leonard go full robot mode. I hope Danny green shows up for this series
Mon May 27, 2019 7:09 pm
I got the Raptors in 7. While I don't actually believe in it, it would be beyond awesome. Let's just hope for the sake of excitement that Kawhi stays healthy.
Mon May 27, 2019 7:43 pm
No Zaza in sight, this time around.
Mon May 27, 2019 11:35 pm
I have the Warriors in 6.
But man, people acting like its unfair for TOR to go against the drafted trio of Curry, Klay and Green and the 35 year old Iguodala is unreal. I saw a comment that said "Kawhi has played great, unfortunately he is running into a super team, it's not fair".
KD is going to miss the first couple games, maybe more. Not sure if Cousins is coming back. Its literally the 3 drafted stars and Iguodala at 35. Not unfair in the least, even when KD comes back, not unfair.
Toronto actually has more depth, and they have a trio of Lowry, Kawhi, Gasol, with the much improved Siakam, and depth with Green, Ibaka, Powell and Van Vleet.
I think GS wins because Curry is still the best player even in this series, and I still believe that the Warriors brand of basketball wins out. But this notion that the Warriors are unfair is ridiculous. Same in 14-15 and 15-16 when that was going around.
All three current playing stars are home grown, imagine penalizing a team for drafting well, growing together, playing great basketball and winning together.

I got the Raps in 4. If I get it right, I become the admin - straight up.

Joke's on you, you'll also be financially responsible for the hosting then!

Wow, Raptors winning this poll. Bunch of optimists in here! I mean I picked them to win in 7 but I don't actually think that'll happen.
Tue May 28, 2019 8:03 pm
Optimists, Warriors haters, people who just want to see something different happen...I'd say it runs the gamut!

No offense to Raptors fans, but I hope it's a short series. So sick of the the cameras focusing on Drake's no-talent ass. His wannabe Spike Lee act is lame. I wish Draymond would lay him out diving for a loose ball. LOL @ him acting like a tough guy against Kendrick Perkins. Drake knows he didn't want that smoke. Real easy to pump your chest when you have bodyguards.

Thank you.
Make him use that hotline bling to call the ambulance

Honestly if anybody's going to lay out Drake, it's Nick Nurse. That back rub shit would make me so mad.
Wed May 29, 2019 1:48 pm
Why though? There's a high chance they're friends off the court and I know it's "unprofessional" to do that but I'd understand.
Anyways, I think a lot of people are rooting for the underdogs and the storyline. Leonard won FMVP against the Heat when they were about to get their 3-peat and now the Warriors are set to get a 3-peat with Leonard on the opposing team. This playoffs' storyline is better than Game of Thrones.
LeBran James gonna come out on top, you heard it here first.

Tell you what, if Siakim doesn't win Most Improved Player, it'll be a travesty.
Fri May 31, 2019 2:09 pm
Yeah yeah Raptors only won cuz KD didnt play.
Never had so much fun watching the game for a very very long time. What an atmosphere. Canada is awesome, where is it again?

Obligatory Simpsons reference.
