Boozer to the Bucks?

Fri Dec 18, 2015 12:33 pm

Sounds like the President of the Hair Club for Men isn't done yet: Sources: Carlos Boozer meets with Bucks about possible deal

Free-agent forward Carlos Boozer met with the Milwaukee Bucks’ front office this week about a potential deal, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Boozer had a positive meeting with Bucks coach Jason Kidd and general manager John Hammond in Los Angeles, sources said. Milwaukee suffered consecutive double-digit losses to the Lakers and Clippers this week.

Bucks center Greg Monroe remains sidelined because of a sprained MCL in his right knee, and the team has lacked reserve frontcourt contributions aside from John Henson.

Great to hear this news. I thought he was going to retire for awhile now.

But I guess he couldn't find a contender as he allegedly wanted to go to one during the offseason.

I always thought the Sixers should of picked him up cheap to help teach there young guys.

That team needs good professional vets and he has always being that (since everyone forgot about Cleveland)

The problem is, even vets want some playing time. A guy like Boozer faded in the background until now because of the benching he got last year on the Lakers. Beeing a Boozer fantasy owner last year in 3 different leagues, I have noticed how he would get a great first half, already scoring a double double, then if the game would be a blowout on the opponent's side, he would be benched, sometimes even the entire second half. All of this was happening even though Randle was out for the season. So the question is, will he get that playing time he deserves on the Sixers over young guys ?

I see your point, I think my opinion would be that he has a chance to make a bigger impact than just what minutes he's going to play but I am sure he will get plenty of calls around the allstar break from playoff teams.
