He, uh...he was so-so in the Dunk Contest a few years ago. So, there's that. Yeah.
There is some talent there, so maybe he finds his niche and gives them some solid minutes. Worst case scenario, it's a two year deal for $10 million. That's not a lot of money to tie up in him, he's off the books in a couple of seasons if it comes to that, and that deal doesn't make him untradeable.
It doesn't say much about a signing when its biggest selling point may be that it's unlikely to be a huge disaster, but this is the team that gave a huge contract to Jerome James. Comparatively speaking, $5 million per year for a couple of years to take a chance on a player who's still young and has had his moments isn't bad at all. Just keep expectations low, I'd say.
