Iam sorry but there is no way that Towns and Okafor are not the 1st and 2nd pick in anyone's draft this year.

But since we are playing the team needs game I am happy for Towns to come to NY this summer (y)

That Mudiay pick is stupid. Mudiay and Rubio lacks the ability to shoot the ball in the perimeter

Kaminksky will not be picked by the Lakers. Why would they? They're better off with KAT or Okafor.

No Oubre? No Johnson? wth are you smoking?

Pretty certain Russell will get picked by the Knicks if they had the chance to do so.. but maybe Philly will get them first.

Aaron Harrison in the first round? wtf.

Willie to Miami? They have Bosh, Andersen and Whiteside, why would you want another one?

Mudiay should not be the first pick and will not be. He will get picked by Philly. They traded away MCW and have drafted 2 upcoming solid big men with Noel and Embiid.

Your mock draft is just... :?

It is due to team needs. The Lakers already have Jordan Hill, Tarik Black and Robert Sacre, so why would they go with either KAT or Okafor over Kaminsky? They'll lose Ed Davis and Carlos Boozer and only have Julius Randle.

Sam Dekker is a SF, so he is going to be 3rd if anything. Why won't he?

Team needs is more important than team wants.

Its nuts to think you actually believe LA would pass on KAT/JO because they have Hill/Davis/Randle. If you said they loved Russell or Mudiay because it's a guard oriented league orso I'd say okay...but that reasoning is nuts.

Because he is not good enough ?

You couldn't be more wrong. First 10-ish picks are generally made as who the team selecting believes is the best player left on the board. Selecting by position doesn't occur until later.

We already had a thread on Mock Draft by Kevin. Can any mod merge the threads?

With the way the Lakers are playing Boozer, do you really think he'll want to play more seasons for them after this season? Sacrea and Black are bottom-feeders that they can get rid of easily

"Team needs" in draft applies when your team is trying to win right away like OKC and CLE. The Lakers are not trying to win but to rebuild. They'll draft whoever they believe is the best play, they won't care what they already have.

Besides it's stupid to use top picks for needs. Hey, there's Kevin Garnett but we need a PG so let's draft Steve Francis instead! You just don't do that with high picks.

teams have learned by now to always draft the best talent and only go with team needs when its a coin flip. take the best player available and figure it out from there

The hate in this thread is appalling.
You simpletons are probably the same as those clowns that thought being a point guard is not Kevin Garnett's natural position.
