Sources: Rajon Rondo to miss six weeks after breaking hand

Boston Celtics guard Rajon Rondo is expected to miss six weeks after undergoing surgery for a broken left hand, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Rondo suffered the injury in a fall at his home on Thursday night.

Rondo, 28, will miss training camp and preseason, but the six-week prognosis for a return should find him back in the lineup within several games of the regular season's start.

i like smart (btw saying that sounds really fucking stupid) but i really wish we could have gotten a good return for rondo. his value just keeps sinking lower and lower

It's tough. He comes with 'tough to coach' tag and PGs are many in this league. Especially with league's new TV deal, he could be even more expensive next season. Expect the Celtics to get 30 cents out of Rondollar.

Anyway, I hope Pat Riley makes a pitch on Rondo (i know he said he will never play for the Heat but life is box of chinese food). Could bring the Heat right back into a contention discussion.
