Wow, Vin looks like he put in a ton of time to get into game shape. I hope this pays off for him and he has a great year, perhaps even an all star berth in the vertically challenged eastern conference.

Baker showed off his newly sculpted physique, outlined his fitness regimen and said his "lift" was back.

Hopefully he can be productive for the Boston Celtics this season (Y).

He looks like the Vin Baker who made the All-Star team a couple of times as a Buck, and once as a Sonic. In time, he might get an opportunity to start.

C - Baker (or Battie)
PF- Battie (or Baker)
SF- Walker

Baker and Battie would be nice upfront, Battie at Center, he blocks more, he's a better defender, Baker is more offensive (Y). Nice combo.

I really doubt he'll make the All Star team.

14 points and around 5-7 boards sound decent, hopefully he'll be able to stay away from the bottle. :)

He's definitely skinny, but a bit too skinny, I'd say. He's skinnier than he's ever been but he doesn't seem to have much muscle like in Milwaukee. I'm glad he got on a diet, but it doesn't seem like he's been in the weight room much.

He never really was that strong. He always was carrying some baggage with him...now that he lost it, you see his real body. I think he'll play great! His greatest attribute before was his quickness as a forward, not his strength.

I really look forward to seeing him play. :)

this Dallas Boston trade will probly be more beneficial to the Celts than Mavs
Mavs will have complications whilst Celts have Vinny WHO ACTUALLY PLAYS IN THE POST unlike some ppl *cough *cough*........Vinny can be great for the Celts, and even seeing him play last season he showed some signs of brilliance, whenever he wanted a rebound he'd get it but those days were few and far between but looks like he's back 4 now
