Voting hasn't been revealed yet, but it'll be interesting to see how that went. Hard to argue with the pick. Was having a near-all-star season until he went down.

Definitely deserving of the award. I was initially skeptical of him because of the lack of college games he played, but he fit in really well and is going to be an all-star if he stays relatively injury free.

I'm interested to see where Kenneth Faried is ranked in the voting, because I thought he had a good case. He made Nene expendible and had a few big games.

The kid is special. At age of 19, he already played better than John Wall, Russell Westbrook, and Derrick Rose at their second years. I am not sure about much room there is for him to grow, but things do look promising at the moment. Good for the Cavaliers.

Lack of games mean his playing style wasn't screwed up by college system.

lol at Selby. Voter must of been a fan of those meaningless games he played during the summer. (Owned by Jennings)

Not surprising at all, really glad to see Faried finish third. :)

Someone's a diehard Selby fan.

Another well-deserved award winner. Had Rubio not gone down it might have been a closer race but I'd still give the nod to Irving. A strong rookie season and a bright future ahead of him.

Kyrie Irving Talks to Media

There's no doubt he deserved the award. He was a great pick at number 1 and by far the best player in the draft. I'm looking forward to seeing him, Thompson, and whoever we draft this year play next season.
